HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Joshua Webb has been named department administrator for Marshall Dentistry & Oral Surgery and Marshall Eye Surgeons.
Webb is a two-time Marshall University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in healthcare administration. Prior to joining Marshall Health, Webb spent the last 10 years in various positions with PharMerica, a long-term care pharmacy, including pharmacy director, district director, and most recently, associate vice president of operations.
In his new role with Marshall Health, Webb oversees the day-to-day operations, administrative and human resources functions of the departments of dentistry and oral surgery and ophthalmology for Marshall Health and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Marshall Dentistry & Oral Surgery staffs three dental clinics, including a mobile clinic in partnership with West Virginia Health Right, with five general dentists, one oral and maxillofacial surgeon, three hygienists and three dental residents. Marshall Eye Surgeon’s office in Huntington provides comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and laser vision correction services.
Webb also serves as founder, president and coach of the Putnam United Football Club, a youth soccer club in Hurricane, West Virginia, where he lives with his wife and two children.
