Marshall Health Network welcomes internal medicine specialists Drs. Faisal and Singh

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Endocrinologist Sobia Faisal, M.D., and Rheumatologist Aesha Singh, M.D., join the team of internal medicine specialists at Marshall Health Network.
Faisal is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hormone-related disorders. She earned her medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, before completing her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Prior to joining the clinical faculty at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine as an assistant professor, Faisal practiced at Hartford Hospital Medical Group in South Windsor, Connecticut, where she provided comprehensive endocrine care to patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders and metabolic diseases.
Her clinical interests include diabetes, adrenal, thyroid and pituitary disorders. In her academic role, she works closely with medical students, internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.
Singh is a board-certified rheumatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases affecting the joints, muscles and connective tissues. She earned her medical degree from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in India. Following her internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas, she pursued specialized training through a rheumatology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and was most recently in private practice in northern Alabama.
Singh provides comprehensive care for adults with conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, osteoarthritis, crystalline arthropathies like gout, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, spondyloarthropathies and other autoimmune rheumatic diseases, including scleroderma, myositis and Sjögren’s syndrome.
She serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where she enjoys teaching and interacting with students and resident physicians.
