Marshall Health Network moves vascular surgery practice to new outpatient location

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The vascular surgery team at Marshall Health Network (MHN) has relocated its outpatient practice from Marshall University Medical Center to a newly renovated space in the Highlawn Medical Building, located at 2828 First Avenue, Suite 304, in Huntington, on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center (SMMC).  

Highlawn Medical Building is easily accessible to patients, offering convenient parking and campus shuttle service. The move brings comprehensive vascular services to SMMC’s cardiovascular campus.  

Fellowship-trained, board-certified vascular surgeons J. Chris Kitchen, M.D., and Matthew E. Krantz, M.D., RPVI, along with Kelly M. Armstrong, APRN, FNP-C, lead the vascular surgery team at the new location. Kitchen and Krantz specialize in the diagnosis and management of complex arterial and venous diseases, including carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and dialysis access. Armstrong provides comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to help patients navigate every stage of treatment and recovery.
