Marshall Health Network welcomes new internal medicine specialists
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Health welcomes three new fellowship-trained specialists in endocrinology, gastroenterology and pulmonology.
Endocrinologist Darin D. Bagar, M.D. brings expertise in the diagnosis and management of hormonal and metabolic disorders such as diabetes. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tripoli in Libya, followed by an internal medicine residency at NYC Health + Hospitals-Woodhull/NYU Langone, in Brooklyn, New York, and an endocrine, diabetes and metabolism fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Bagar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and accepting new patients and referrals at Marshall Internal Medicine in Huntington (304.691.1000) and Marshall Internal Medicine in Teays Valley at (304.691.6910).
Yasmeen Obeidat, M.D. is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who earned her medical degree from Hashemite University in Jordan and completed both her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for digestive system conditions, including acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and colorectal cancer screenings. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Obeidat is accepting new patients and referrals at Marshall Internal Medicine’s Gastroenterology and Hepatology clinic in Huntington (304.691.1000) and Marshall Internal Medicine in Teays Valley (304.691.6910).
Pulmonologist Kamal K. Rikabi, M.D., brings extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of respiratory and lung-related conditions. His services include asthma and COPD management, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, advanced diagnostic testing and long-term care for chronic respiratory disorders. Rikabi earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Sint Maarten, followed by an internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at McLaren Health Care in Flint, Michigan. Rikabi is accepting new patients and referrals at Marshall Internal Medicine in Huntington (304.691.1000) and Marshall Internal Medicine in Teays Valley (304.691.6910).

All three physicians also serve as assistant professors in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where they will contribute to medical education, clinical training and ongoing research initiatives.
